Hotel Room Rate Change Disregard the room rate fees as shown . The original posted rate
of $110.00 has been reduced to $90.00. (The recession is not all
bad)
When you make your reservations, make sure you let them know you are
with the USS Topeka reunion and that they
give you the $90 rate. Hotel phone number 847-671-6000.
The 800 number
in the Chicago Highlights and Tour Information"
says you cannot get the $90.00 rate.
What to do? Do not call them since they know not what they say. This seems to be a problem with this and other hotels that use an 800 service for reservations. The 2009 reunion will be the 20th get together we have enjoyed as shipmates.
