Constitution Plaza

2009 Dedication Ceremony

Since 2009 USS Topeka ship's bell has occupied a place of honor at Constitution Plaza located at Topeka High Scool, Topeka, Kansas. Also located here is a section of mast from USS Constitution and on each side of the mast are the flags of all branches of the United States armed forces. A brick pathway connects all the areas of the plaza. Each brick is engraved with the name of a person or group who has made a donation to Topeka High School Historical Society, the group that maintains the plaza.

At the 2012 reunion of the USS Topeka CLG-8 Association, the membership voted to make a donation and have two engraved bricks placed in the pathway. The bricks were placed in 2013

If you would like to make a donation to this worthy group click on the donation link below, and print out the form.
